Golden Crunch is a best selling, utterly delicious honeycomb and chocolate product sold by The VeganStore online and stocked in independent shops.

The Vegan Store approached us about a point-of-sale and packaging refresh that remained sensitive to the existing 'budget' label whilst ensuring maximum shelf appeal.

Firstly we noticed that the exisiting small label, positioned at the top of the clear bag would only work when the product was placed at eye-level or higher when on shelving. So we suggested a two-part label that would be more visible at lower levels. The client told us the that 100% Vegan ingredients were also a big selling point - so we made that more visible using a 'ribbon' format that can be used across other products as necessary. Finally, we cleaned up the label using a modern font that reflected the characteristics of the old version and, perhaps most simply - changed the colour from a bright yellow to something more golden. Sweet.
