People who are experiencing mental health issues often feel isolated and abandoned by society. At Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust an important part of rehabilitation is to help people interact with others.

For this, their Annual Review, we managed highly sensitive photoshoots at three locations. Blank Associates captured service users and staff sympathetically and with dignity. We then visually created interaction between the individuals to represent the layers of society as a whole. The finished document helps celebrate a year of achievements in an increasingly difficult financial situation.

Charged with creating a desktop tool for every GP in the country. We created the original Referrers Directory in 2007. Not only has the original format stood the test of time and remains fundamentally unchanged, but we are responsible for the printing and mailing of roughly 21,000 copies of 30 variations, ensuring smooth delivery and providing a united end-to-end solution for the busy Nuffield marketing department.

Straightaway we suggested a 'Fresh' new name - ditching the fried connotations for something healthier and more family friendly. The brand then emphasised the italian, hand made quality of the ingredients and food on offer.

In 2011 we helped with strategy, creation, implementation and launch of 'Hettie' a free-range hen who will be used to help educate consumers about the plight of caged hens.

We helped bring Hettie to life through a 90sec animation which has so far been used by Sainsburys, Hamleys and of course RSPCA to help spread the Welfare Word.

Working with premium French brand Darphin, alongside retailers such as Harrods, Selfridges, Space NK and House of Fraser. We produced 'Gift With Purchase' (GWP) invitations which seek to gain significant sales uplift at particular times in stores. We helped Darphin cut production costs on their entire years marketing budget, and also helped launch an exclusive Harrods partnership via an invitation DM that offered trial treatments.

This gave us the opportunity to speak directly with our peers and 'design DM for DM designers'. Through a combination of creative advertising and DM we helped the Imagestate Europe team take the company into profit and eventual sale to market leader Getty Images.

Siemens employs 20,000 people nationally. From office based staff to teams out on the road. Communicating to this spread of people within any organisation is a massive task. Blank were asked to promote their Intranet site, a place where staff could log onto from any PC, and personalise to suit their specific needs. The concept of opening up a world of information from one location was adopted, and a series of striking print work was developed.
